This group takes care of what we do when we gather: fellowship, special events, worship, Bible Study, prayer, music, Sunday School, children/youth, small groups and spiritual growth.

A Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, Lenten Soup Suppers and Prayer, Easter Egg Hunt, Sundaes on Saturday ice cream event, July Picnics, Homecoming Sunday, Christmas Tree Trimming and Pot Luck Supper are some of the special events during the year.
This ministry group provides and maintains the space and place where much of our mission and ministry takes place; where we carry out our vision. Maintenance of our church building, the grounds outside, as well as various special projects are handled by the Admin Group. They are currently constructing a patio and walkway in the back yard which will be used for picnics, barbecues and other church/community events.
This group carries out the work/mission/ministry of the church; the caring arm of the church. They reach out to those who are homebound by visiting, with phone calls, notes and letting them know they are indeed always a part of Oak Tree Church.  We feel the grief that a member experiences, we pray for them and with them.
When there is illness, we help however we can - preparing meals, running errands, etc...

The Deacons/Caring Vision Group also supports the FISH, Inc. Clothing Room in Piscataway by donating used clothing throughout the course of the year.

Thanks to the generosity of our members, Homeless Emergency Kits and School Supplies Packets are collected and distributed to local and regional homeless shelters. Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Baskets that include turkeys, hams and all the "fixin's" for 6-10 people are distributed in November and December.

Through our Christmas Angel program for needy families, more than 35 children, moms and dads from our church family, neighbors and clients at Kiddie Keep Well Camp in Roosevelt Park in Edison enjoyed an abundance of gifts!

Needs in the summer include sunscreen, lip balm, lotion, soap, toothbrushes/paste (please purchase the travel size of these items), wash cloths, towels. Donations are packed into individual "kits" and are taken to various shelters and given to local homeless people.

The Oak Tree Multicultural Initiative embraces the original vision of the founding members of Oak Tree Presbyterian Church to become a multicultural-inclusive congregation. The initiative intentionally seeks to not only transform and grow the present congregation into a more diverse community, but to reach out to people of different cultures who live in our surrounding community and to the Korean congregation (Lord of Hope) and JUMP Immersion School
(a Spanish and Mandarin preschool) that share space with us in the church building.

Through worship, education, community outreach, and fellowship, the Oak Tree Multicultural Initiative is building and strengthening relationships with people of other cultures and creating partnerships in ministry, as together we build God's Beloved Community.
